Frequently asked questions
General
What is Padelbit?
Padelbit provides live scoring and leaderboards for popular padel formats.
Is Padelbit free?
Casual 2v2 games are free. Running tournaments and opening registration require organizer access; see Pricing for access enquiries. Tournament entry fees are separate and set by the event organizer.
Which format should I pick?
Choose Americano for social play, Mexicano for tighter competition, or King of the Court and Latviano for larger groups.
Do players need to register?
Some tournaments require sign-in with a verified phone number to reserve a spot. Follow the event’s registration instructions and check your confirmed or waitlist status. Public games and live scores can be followed without signing in.
Is my data private?
We store what you enter to run your games, plus your phone number and payment records if you join events. One cookie keeps you signed in for 30 days, another remembers your language. No ads or third-party tracking. We delete your profile on request.
Do I need to install an app?
No app store needed, open the link and play in your browser. You can also install Padelbit to your home screen, so it opens full screen in one tap.
What are the on-court rules?
Timed rounds have no stop at 6: keep playing until the horn and enter the games as they stand, 7:1 is a normal score. A horn sounds one minute before each round ends, finish the game you're playing, but don't start a new one. At 4:4 with the score still 0:0, play a golden point instead.
Scoring & results
Can scores be updated live?
Yes, scores and standings update for everyone in real time as each round is entered.
Can several people enter scores?
Yes, and conflicting edits are detected so two people can't silently overwrite each other.
Can I correct a wrong score?
Yes, scores can be edited, and an undo system keeps earlier rounds consistent.
What if a player leaves mid-session?
You can substitute a player; the schedule and standings adjust.
How does the Score work?
Your Score updates after every game based on your opponents and results. It stabilizes as you play more.
Sharing
Can I share results to Telegram?
Yes, post the final leaderboard and result card back to your Telegram group, and create sessions from the bot.
Can I share a game link with my group?
Yes, every game has a link and QR code anyone can open to follow live.
Clubs & organizers
Can clubs use Padelbit for weekly events?
Yes, run recurring nights in any format (Americano, Mexicano, Latviano, King of the Court, 2v2 and more) with a leaderboard that carries across sessions.
